Hello Naeem, thank you for your comment and insight. I agree Lean Methodology would be difficult in healthcare for the reasons you stated as there are few “assembly line” types of services in healthcare. However, as you point out, for those areas in which Lean can be applied to healthcare (e.g. patient reg) I feel the healthcare industry needs to adopt this methodology…adopt good things when and where you can, as every little bit makes a difference! Yes, no doubt, With the establishment of ACOs Lean would be of great benefit! Thank you again for sharing your point of few, much appreciated!
